A VODKA MADE EXCLUSIVELY WITH WHOLE WHEAT FROM THE BEAUCE

Vodka may legally be made from any ingredient that can be distilled, such as molasses, potatoes, tapioca and all types of grain. However, vodka made entirely from wheat is generally the best.

Citadelle 6C is made exclusively from whole wheat grown on the plains of the Beauce, in central France. Moreover, only the grain is used for distillation – i.e., it is separated from the bran for this very purpose. This process of separating the grain from the bran greatly contributes to the vodka's refinement, since distilling the bran produces methanol and other elements that would adversely affect the vodka's taste.
